Conference Activities
Green Room provide a different and exciting approach to conference activities and team building, creating workshops which challenge and enhance your event using a variety of techniques employed by professional actors during the rehearsal process. Our workshops are tailor-made to suit your event themes with a focus on teamwork, creativity and communication skills.
Acting
A great way to explore voice and speech techniques as well as physical presence and posture within the individual and as part of a team. Through games, improvisation and script work your team can build self-confidence and access their own creativity.
Stage Combat
With the emphasis on trust, co-operation and listening, these are fun, high energy workshops which enable participants to explore techniques used in the theatre and film industry. Learning how to convincingly punch, hit and kick your colleagues (or boss!) can also be a great way to relieve the stresses of the workplace!
Renaissance Dance
Learn a dance from the Tudor period! Choose a stately dance from the Elizabethan court or the more energetic, even boisterous, Morris dance. These dances require an ensemble approach to achieve the correct formations making this activity perfect for team building as well as testing the brain cells and keeping everybody on their toes!
Student Workshops
We run dedicated theatre workshops for student groups visiting Stratford-upon-Avon from the UK and all over the world. Whether you want to explore Shakespeare's plays, learn to stage fight or even discover renaissance dance, we can put together the right workshop for your group in the home town of the 'Bard'!
We use drama games, improvisation techniques, characterisation, vocal work, movement and script work to create the right theatre workshop to suit your student group.
Shakespeare In Your School
We understand it is not always possible to bring large groups of children on a school trip to Stratford-upon-Avon to experience the Bards work. So, let US come to YOU!

We are a team of highly skilled drama and theatre practitioners who have worked with children of all ages over many years. We guarantee that imaginations will be stimulated, creative sparks will fly, and brains will be engaged!
At Green Room we believe in an active approach to working with Shakespeare, using practical drama games and exercises to explore his world. We encourage movement around the space to help the children explore and meet the characters, and ensemble work to create scene shapes of towns, forests or even mystical beings. We bring our experience of the real world of acting into the workshops we create to help fully encompass young minds into the Bard’s work.
Whether your school has a single or multiple form entry we can tailor a day to suit you and your children. Workshops can last from one hour to a full day.

Shakespeare’s plays ooze with themes and storylines that are relevant to young students today. You just need to watch the news or scroll through your social media and you will see a story of love, lust or hatred, murders, trickery and darkness. With darkness, however, comes light and laughter and also the fantastical, magical and even supernatural!

Theatre Entertainment
We offer Shakespearean entertainments that add drama and music to your event. From discrete waiters and waitresses taking your guests by surprise by bursting into a performance of Shakespeare’s most popular works, to an ensemble troupe of actors appearing in full costume during dinner, we can tailor our performance to your event and provide a very memorable evening.
To really set the scene for your event we can provide musical entertainment with a 16th century repertoire from the stately music of the court to lively country tunes. Perfect for reception drinks, between courses and to enhance our theatrical performances.
